For all the flack Shawn has gotten in the past I am giving him serious props today. He has worked extremely hard to make up for his past issues. I for one am EXTREMELY impressed with the efforts he has shown and will reopen my trading with him on the condition that he continue to be as diligent with his trades and be careful not to allow himself to get overwhelmed again. Shawn go slow don't try to take on too much and you will be fine. I will be willing to entertain any trades you wish to propose. A+++++

It took about four years but the card has arrived. The envelope is marked with at least three different pens and a sharpie marker with two different handwriting styles and some corrections seemingly made over time. 7 years later (no joke) and this guy finally sends me one card when the original trade was for three cards. And the card he sent isn't even in the original trade. I'm so confused and a bit irritated...but I guess he did send a card (and it came with a strange CD).

After 2.5 years, my trade with this individual has made....progress. They were "replacement" cards and not the cards we traded for, but they were comparable and the member stated they did not have the cards we traded for. So, on one hand, I have to give credit to the member as this trade was buried and unifinished and left for dead. They could have moved on, but made the effort to try to make this good and for that I appreciate it. On the other hand, this trade techinically still was not made, so, it feels off to mark positive. Immediately I would not trade with again, but if effort keeps getting made, I would like to give the member another try, but only on a 'they send first' basis.

Took over three years to finalize this trade.

With Shawn sending first, 3 years in the making, the transaction was completed.

I had forgotten all about this trade. Had it marked as Unfinished. It took a year and a half, but the deal was finally completed. Can't mark this as a positive experience, but I do appreciate Shawn sending what was owed to complete our trade. From reading other reviews it does appear that he's doing his best to make everyone whole, which is all we can ask for when entering into a trade on here. Would consider doing a trade with Shawn again, but would have him send first.

I accepted this trade three years ago, with Shawn. I decided I would let him send first. After a long period of time I marked the trade unfinished and I completely forgot about it. I later learned he was overwhelmed with hundreds of trades and is now steadily working through them. In the end, he followed through—sent a sincere apology, cleverly packaged the item, and went above and beyond to make it right. It took time, but he pulled it off. Props for making good on the deal!

It may have taken awhile, but Shawn came through. Kudos for the honesty and for not letting it just drop. Collecting is often a long game. I'm sure the value of the card rose in between :)

He made right a transaction he initiated in 2023.

Shawn reached out recently to complete a trade that was initiated in 2021. He did send cards to complete the transaction, which is appreciated.
Hope others will have a positive experience moving forward as it does seen he is trying to make things right.

tricked me with fake accounts to get me to accept. I want nothing to do with him.

I'm joining the group of people who have been disappointed by Shawn. He offered a trade in March, and I accepted. I should have known something was amiss when his address didn't appear on the trade (after acceptance). He gave me an address and an alias (Philly Philly 17) for the package. I never received the cards, and he has quit responding to my messages. Apparently he has had several accounts on TCDB in an effort to cover up his issues.

Shawn proposed a small "3 for 1" trade to me under an alias Philly Philly 17 on 2/17/25. He marked my cards as shipped the same day he received his card on 3/1. I sent Shawn a message on 4/15 and again on 5-13, "cards never received", with no response. I have had 2 small trades with Shawn that were successful under different names (Billion Cards or ICP fan) but unfortunately I'm leaving negative feedback for this one and blocking him from proposing future trades.

Cards received from February 2025 trade, changed feedback to positive. Thank you for making good on the trade.

It's hard to leave positive feedback when it took 8 years to complete a trade. That's what happened here. A two card trade is now complete. The follow through was slow but it did happen.

I thought I'd give this user a chance despite his less than perfect feedback. Well, he proposed this to me on 2/26/25 and marked my card as shipped the same he received his cards on 3/4. I messaged this user on 3/28, no response. Messaged again on 4/3 and got a reply 4/4 saying that "some cards are going out with tracking." I told him that wasn't necessary for 1 card, and didnt hear anythig back. Still, my card hasn't shown up. I'm starting to give up on the hope it will ever come. If it does, I will gladly change this to positive feedback. Until then, another hit to their feedback rating

After 3.5 years, I got 4 of the 5 cards Shawn owed me from one of his other accounts.  Based on my experience, I will not be trading with Shawn again unless two things happen- 1.) He makes up for the one card shorted 2.) He sends first.  This is close enough to complete that it is not worth it for me to put any more time & energy into this.
***Update- After another month and a half, Shawn sent the last remaining card he owed me, so we are now square. That being said, I would still only trade with him again if he sent first, given the long amount of time it took to complete this trade (along with the amount of time it took him with a prior trade as well).
